Is 15 credits too much? I am a biochem major. Is this too rigorous for a first semester freshman.

Short answer, no. Long answer: depends on where you go to school.

i have 17.5, so I don't think so...

How is it measured? For example here each class is worth 1 credit. Students are expected to take at least 4 and no more than 5.5 credits per semester.

I do not go to an overly competitive school by any means according to todays standards. I am just curious if math, bio, chem plus freshman seminars (2), is doable for freshman, (the bio and chem with their respective labs). Thanks.

That seems fine then. The two labs might be tough but it's definately doable.

Doable-----and still do pretty well? Like 3.6-3.8 gpa? If I put in a moderate-high amount of work. And one random quesiton, how many hours should i study for a regular test and how many days in advance. The test covering say 3 chapters. Thanks.

--Also is it normal for first semester freshman to feel a little overwhelmed? Does this usually wear off?

--Finally, am I being too hard on myself? I studied around 7-10 hours for a chemistry test, and I got one part to a question wrong--To put it nicely, I flipped out when I got home. How can i relax myself?

I think it's doable for sure. I have CS (with lab), chem (with lab), special rel and quantum mechanics, math, weightlifting, and a humanity class.

I feel really overwhelmed, though. It's definitely normal.

I have 16 and it's not too bad.
