Who wants to read it?
(I'd feel more comfortable if others in my graduating class didn't read it :))

Well, I'm '09 so you don't have to send it to me, but I have a question for you. I just finished my EC essay, and it's hard to make it creative and passionate and all that with only 150 words... mine sounds sort of dense. Is yours like a brag sheet of what you accomplished or did with your EC, or how it changed you, or what?

Yeah that's kind of what I'm wondering too, but I had an older friend read what I wrote and he said it was fine. Basically what I did was tell a very short generic story with a lot of feeling. It didn't start off as my EC essay, and it's still too long (225 words), but it's about my most passionate activity and if it works, it works. But yeah, this is coming from someone very close to your shoes.

I would be willing to read it and give feedback. I'm already in college so there's no conflict.

I'm '09 so it's perfectly okay if you don't want to send me yours (plus I have a kind of low post count so I understand), but I'm open for giving advice if you want it. If you just need ideas that's fine too.

I will read it for you.
