I’m an incoming freshman. Super excited to start, but I realized I may have signed up for too many credits and I have few other options. I wanted an English class for 5 credits since writing essays is a breeze, but all classes are full right now. I’m waiting on Notify UW to get into those (let’s hope I get in). I wouldn’t be worried taking 18 credits with English in my schedule, but right now I have:
-CHEM 143 lecture and lab sections (6 credits)
-MATH 125, online since the other classes got full before I had time to register (5 credits)
-The into to whatever class for a FIG since I needed to take that to get my chem class (2 credits)
-EPI 220 lecture and quiz section (5 credits)
I don’t know how difficult EPI 220 will be, but from rate my professor, it looks like a lot of students got A’s. As for my other classes, I know Chem 143 might be a little bit rough. Math 125 should be alright for me since I took AP calc AB and BC and did fine, I know all the material already.
Does this look like too many credits? Is that fig thing an actual class? I’ll be living on campus and I plan to study all day other than volunteering 4 hours a week.
