I think it’s fine to wait for the perfect someone to get a triple/home run off of, but that some experience in kissing and being in a relationship would be nice. It’ll be much easier to get that in college though, maybe you’ll find that special someone there anyways

Don’t be hatin’. :)

Why is first base important? Most people go to first base with their 6th grade boyfriend/girlfriend or with a random at a party. Unless it was like, their first love who they end up marrying the summer before they’re 16, most people don’t care much about it. My friend (she’s not a slut, she’s smart, she’s friendly) first made out with an unknown guy at our school dance last year (don’t even know what school he goes to).
I don’t think it’s weird to be an 18 year old virgin either. Some people go for teenage sex (or get involved in it anyway), some don’t. If you do they say that you have more experience in the future which I think is pretty true however apparently the more people you sleep with the more likely you are to break up in a long term relationship (since you can have more complaints, when comparing them to past flings).

But the OP pushing away all the girls is a different story.

ima girl and i think when a guy is a virgin and innocent its a total turn on because you know he hasn’t done every girl that walks his way and im pretty sure your not gay (unless you beg to differ). My brother is twenty four and yes he likes girls but he’s still a virgin but he’s also a christian and he follows the bible and I’m still a virgin and I’m keeping it that way until I’m married and I want to marry a virgin! It really depends on how you feel about yourself no one can tell you what to do so decide if you really want to keep it or give it away. And i have a friend he’s seventeen and he’s never had a girlfriend and he’s not gay either he just thinks its pointless unless he’s ready to pursue something real with a girl

Is it still a turn on knowing he hasn’t even kissed a girl? :P

Just sayin’, no hate

Girl.

That’s totally fine–I know plenty of people (mostly girls, but whatever) who’ve never been kissed at 17, 18. But kissing isn’t a huge deal, and if you’re attracted to someone, there’s no reason not to kiss them. Sex is another issue entirely.

lol, what exactly does this mean?

If you are looking for a quality relationship, it makes no difference that you are a virgin, and may increase your chances of finding a good quality partner. Many people would prefer a partner who hasn’t been around. Also, that gives them more confidence that they have much to teach you! You aren’t looking just to have fun for a night, but looking for someone serious, that’s a good thing. And if you aren’t interested yet, no big deal. Life has lots of twists and turns. Maybe you won’t find someone, but they will find you:)

^Which is why you must specify when you talk to someone new about them. I use the 4 f’s which you could probably find on Urban Dictionary if you need more specification :D

Anyway, in an absolutely absolute reality, both 3rd base and home both qualify as “Sex” thus not making you a virgin if you happen to visit either of them.

^ 3rd base (essentially oral sex) does not qualify as losing your virginity. Intercourse (home run, grand slam, etc) is when one loses their virginity.

“Grand slam” is the most appropriate term, I think.

^The civil lewdness found only among elite Ivy ladies.
