It’s only a good idea to do that if the hard math questions you’re missing consistently test you on the same skill (like if you missed 4 hard questions and they were all on probability).
C. is incorrect because there is a subject error. The first part of the sentence “Possibly one of Europe’s oldest languages,” does not refer to the “origins of Basque”. It refers to Basque as a language. So saying “Possibly one of Europe’s oldest languages, the origins of Basque are hotly debated” does not make sense. This incorrect sentence refers to “the origins of Basque” as “one of Europe’s oldest languages”. The origins of a language is not the same thing as the language itself. It should instead read “possibly one of Europe’s oldest languages, Basque…”. This sentence would be correct because it is referring to “Basque” as “one of Europe’s oldest languages”.
ah alright. what I understood from your post is that the subject always goes before the err… idk what its called (predicate???) but I get gist of it.
also I’m generally missing level 4 and 5 geometry quite a bit.
but I’m still not content with getting 650s on Math so I will train my ass off and do every single lvl 4 or 5 problem and understand it.
besides, I have two copies of the book
the only other thing I’m missing points on is those damned careless errors. no matter how many times I read every question on math, i end up getting 1 or 2 wrong simply because of my stupidness.
really angers me.
btw stanuc, you seem to know everything. like a sat mastermind xD
if I may ask, what did you get on your last SAT? (curiosity)
also sorry for not keeping you guys updated
DAY18 - 3 math sections + 50 vocab
I have been very lazy lately so today I will try to do a practice test.
i feel really unmotivated and unproductive.
but fk all that ^
dare I say: the one, most important thing you need to do well on the SAT is DISCIPLINE.
Hi guys, it seems I returned to the tragic habit of missing many questions on CR.
Also, I took the hardest math section I’ve ever taken today and my self esteem is currently in the abyss,
I know this sounds stupid - but to combat this and ultimately kick this stupid test in the guts, ive come to a conclusion after tons of thorough research
I will purchase 3 books.
Pwn The SAT Math
Erica Meltzers Grammar Guide
Erica Meltzers Critical Reader
I was planning on getting Dr John Chungs too–but that’s just way too much information to absorb before October.
Ugh I’m so dissapointed in myself.
Honestly, I’ll let you in on a little secret (be it, a not very exciting one). My goal is not really 2200, it’s more like 2100 or even 2050. But I set my ambitions for a 2200 so that I have a safety net incase I do not reach it.
Any recommendations or advice? And more importantly: will properly studying the sht out of these 3 books and the official study guide guarantee that I improve these 300 or so points?
