1800s to 2100 + !!

520-580 CR
650-740 Math
600-650 Writing

How can i bring it up???? i've been stuck in the 1800s for months now.

Writing : i feel like i know all the grammar needed for the SATs and yet i cant get over a 700. Im always hesitant to pick "no errors" so i sometimes just leave them blank. My essay range from 7 to 11. It really depends on the prompt. PLEASE HELP. i really want to bring up my writing score for it is the least hardest to bring up of the three.

Math: i'm good but how can i get over a 700 every time i take the sats. I know PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT and i will be doing so every week :) Any recommended books?

CR : worst section ever. :( Sentence completion : 4-5 or so wrong out of 19 ~~ THe real problem is the passage reading.

ANY TIPS OR ADVICE? THANK YOU VERY MUCH : D

For CR: read major newspapers, New York Times, Wall Street Journals, etc. Just the read the articles that interest you. I used to read the travel articles. I would stay away from reading novels, since they take up too much time. Newspapers can be quicker fixes  Read an article before bed. When reading, question the author/article. Ex: Why does he sound sarcastic here? What does this new word mean?
For the essay, memorize some literary or historical examples to use every time. stay away from personal examples, if you can.
For the grammar: this link helped me tremendously! [SAT Writing Questions - Minus](http://minus.com/mmAAG3qEm) It’s an archive of official CB writing Qs. Don’t be scared by the Chinese, everything that you need to prepare is in English. Don’t hesitate to download it, not a virus lol
If you have any questions, feel free to ask

I went from 1550-2100 (r450, m600, w500 to 700 710 700)… Take a lot of full practice tests. One every week. Do a different section every night.
Correct mistakes**** important part
Study Princeton reviews vocabulary. That’s all I did
Books:
SAT official
Kaplan 12 practice tests
Princeton review 11 practice tests
Find your own method is what I recommend but what I did was use PR sat prep book to memorize all the specific rules they use for writing. For reading comp I read Qs bracket the lines in reference, and look for key words that make 4 answers out of 5 wrong (trust me it works). Never pick an answer that is subjective or extreme. It’s usually not the detailed answers they give BC the detail is usually the deal breaker

As for math… Just get fast at it

Good luck

@risubu - check your PM, please!

I went from 1810 to 2040 in a month. Actually, less than 10 days of studying coz I was on vacation after the previous SAT. All I did was 5 practice tests from College board. You need to concentrate and discipline yourself to finish them in real exam conditions. I did one test one day and review all the mistakes on the another day. Only studied for 3 and half hour everyday for 10 days straight. My scores on practices were only around 1900 and I did not have enough time to complete every section. But on real exam, I am shocked to find that I finished 5 minutes early for each section. Profit!

I agree that Math and Writing are the sections that you should count on the most. My CR only went up by 90 points but my math went up by 110!

@NobleFlaire what did you do during the 3 hours every day?

and I’ll try to do what everyone here said THANK YOU very much

solving a practice test :P
