I just received this score a month ago and was thoroughly disappointed in it because I was hoping for a 2200+ on the SAT. With enough practice tests and familiarity of the question, would this be possible on the SAT? I didn't study at all for the PSAT because it isn't really very important unless I was considering NMS which I did not even know about until after taking it, but whatever. I am aware though that practicing can really make a huge difference, contrary to popular belief, and therefore I would like to aim to boost my resume any way possible with the SAT. :)

Just keep working hard in high school and on studying for the SAT, and that’ll be very possible. I jumped from a 149 PSAT to approximately a 2200 SAT.

I had your exact score! I was disappointed like you are but I worked at it and I ended up getting a 2270. The big thing is working hard at the areas where you are weak and tuning your skills in the areas where you are strong. You’ll do fine in the future. Sat scores are indicative of how hard you are willin to work. You didn’t work at the PSAT like me, but if you work at the sat you should be fine

Wow congratulations this is really motivational, and I am sure I will work my ass off for a 2200+ because if I don’t then my EC’s really won’t save me :D
