1950 to 2260?

When I first took the SAT in January, it was horrible because I was sick and still managed to get to the testing center and take the SAT. Stupidly, I didn't cancel my scores (partly stupidity, partly curiosity).
When I took them again in April, I got a 2260.

How will colleges interpret my large difference in scores? Will it greatly affect me if I am planning to apply to Cornell/Columbia ?

i honestly think the highest score is all that matters, you should think of yourself as someone who got a 2260, forget about the old score. im sure admissions officers will view it the same way...they take highest composite score for a reason

The highest is what matters so no worries mate!

Yep, my college counselor said they will look at the highest score.
