SAT Concern

<p>Okay.</p>

<p>I took the SAT I in May and scored a 2210, which I was fine with score-wise but my dad felt that I should take it again, so I did.</p>

<p>When taking the test on June 5th, I felt not only fatigued in general, but also not very motivated with the under-confident assumption that I could not score much higher than a 2210. At the same time, I was aware of SAT's 'Score Choice' initiative but that was merely a side factor - ultimately, I didn't take the test as seriously as I should have. After recieving the scores from the SAT I for June, I realized I scored a mere 2080, which dissapointed me.</p>

<p>My school prints all SAT scores on our college-transcripts, so I'm assuming any college I apply to will see these scores. Will the 2080 significantly undermine my 2210? Please be honest. </p>

<p>A mere 2080? You do realize that is 97%ile?</p>

<p>Anyway, they look at your best scores. If you’re looking at tippy top schools, neither a 2080 nor a 2210 will make much of difference in terms of admission anyway. They’re both excellent scores, so they certainly won’t be the deciding factor in your admission.</p>

<p>I scored a 2090 and that is the 97th percentile. There is no way the percentiles changed that much in one test. You can go on the collegeboard and research it. 2210 is 99th</p>
