1st Quarter Grades... got yours?

AP Lit - B (1 point off from an A.. grr..)
AP BC Calculus - A
AP Spanish IV - A
Math Team - A
AP US Government - A
Newspaper - A
AP Physics C - B (god I hate physics)

AP English - 95
AP Spanish Language - 92
AP Calculus AB - 101 which just indicates how crappy our teacher is because I suck at math
Physics Honors - 93
Band - 95

It's weird...I have high honors (95+ average) for the first time in a year. Senior year is so much more easy for me than junior year was.

our grading scale is pretty difficult:

94-100 = A (4.0)
90-93 = B+ (3.5)
84-89 = B (3.0)
80-84 = C+ (2.5)
74-79 = C (2.0)

So, I'm hoping that since I have a little over a 3.5, it could be a 4.0 on some schools grading scales :P

i don't have mine until nov. 12, but i'm pretty sure where I am

Physics Honors-- i'm taking it pass/honors/fail WOOT, which means all i have to do is get above a 66 and a little "P" goes on my report card
Spanish 5 IB-- ewww...maybe like an 85. but weighted it'll be a 95.
AP Politics-- like 98 unweighted, 108 weighted
Math-- 98
AP English-- like a 92 unweighted, 102 weighted
Choir-- 100
Cities-- 100, it better be

I think mine will be:

AP bio: 96-98
AP Eng lit: 95-98
AP calc: 92-94
Physics: 94-96
Journalism: 100
Govt: Don't even care

Hmm... that's interesting that you're allowed to take pass/fail type classes. I've never heard of that in high school.

a lot of schools have it, but don't advertise the option because it encourages slackerness

but i would never have done P/H/F unless I really had to, and I did...the teacher is an absolute nightmare, no one understands a thing she says or does

I was the first one to go do P/H/F but I told some people about it and all of a sudden there was a mass influx of people in her classes that went to do it, so the administration is now investigating her competence

my friends got theirs 3 weeks ago, but for some reason mine came today ...? rofl

btw, there's a pass and fail class for AP Chem lab at my school. it's supposed to be a regular class, but some idiots complained about their GPA falling from a 4.3 to a 4.1 (u get the picture).
