<p>So I'm sure that the first quarter is almost over for most people, including myself. Personally, I expect to finish with all a's, but I'm making it my goal to have no a-'s at the end of the second quarter, because I have a couple now. What about you guys? How are you doing and what are your academic goals for the rest of this year?</p>
<p>I hopefully have all A’s this quarter… our online grade portal has been down all weekend and I can’t check my grades and this was the weekend that teachers were having a mass update of grades… Last time I checked, my lowest grade was a 94 in AP Literature… I hope to keep it that way. :(</p>
<p>I’m a full-time dual enrollment student, and we don’t have quarter grades. But I want to get As or A-s in all my classes. Hopefully just As.</p>
<p>I just got my progress reoprt last week. I got one B and the rest were A’s and A+'s. My lowest is in Reserach… I hope that goes up along with the rest of my grades. I want my lowest to always and forever more to be a 96+. I just need to put in a little more effort. Procrastinating is evil, lol.</p>
<p>The quarter finished for me on Thursday, and this is my first time getting all A’s in the first quarter, so I’m pretty happy. My lowest was a 91.53% (A-) in AP Stats - everything else was 96%+. Yay! </p>
<p>Quarter grades don’t show up on my transcript so it doesn’t even matter… but a good ego boost

<p>My goal for Q2 is the same as yours - no A-'s. Not sure how well that’ll work out though… stupid mistakes in Stats are killing me, and AP Physics is only going to get harder…</p>

<p>Do your schools use a 10 point scale or a 7 point scale?
My school does 7, but my calc teacher converts our grades to a 10 point scale if we do test corrections.</p>
<p>For me, first quarter ends in 2 weeks. So far I have all As but one B+ in spanish :(</p>

<p>Don’t feel too bad ScienceKid… Only reason I have an A for the quarter in Stats is because I managed to convince my teacher to put the test I just bombed in Q2 grade not Q1. Otherwise I’d have had like an 89.54 which is .01 below the cutoff for an A-. Yay for persuasive skills making up for a lack of math skills!</p>

I was joking I didn’t mean that. Lol, persuasion skills. I still have 4 weeks until my first report card comes out so I should at least get every grade up by 5% at the very least.</p>
