1st semester grades for ED?

My S 1st semester grades were not that strong (tough sports schedule). He applied ED. Does the college automatically see them? If he was borderline ED would they ask to see the 1st semester grades?

You’re technically supposed to send them when you get them.

ED decisions should be mailed next week though, so I doubt the semester grades would have any impact.

However, how bad are we talking here?

A couple B’s? Or something worse?

And “borderline ED?” I mean…I haven’t heard of W&M asking for additional information for “borderline” applicants.

Plus, if he gets in, you’ll still be required to send them in, so it really doesn’t matter.

you have to send the semester grades… doubtful they will be taken into account for ED though

If a student is admitted ED, they will have to send their first semester grades in the spring when they become available and their final transcript in the fall. First semester grades are not considered during ED since they’re not available at the time.
