1st semester sophomore grades are bad. Will this hurt my chances for colleg?

So freshman year Both semester I got all A's and a B in geometry in IB classes. My GOA was 4.5. I transfered schools and I took IB classes again. It is almost the end of 1st semester and my grades are bad. I have a B in Chem, B in math, B in history and the rest are all A's but I might get another B in a class. It was hard moving and getting used to a new school so will colleges notice that? And I know I will work really harder next semester. I plan to go to UCLA, Universoty Washington, John Hopkins, or Columbia. Will I have a chance getting into a college with 4 B's and 3 A's but will doing really good next semester with all A's and one B make them notice that I'm n

GPA is calculated with final grades from 9th to 11th grade not individual semester grades. You still have time to get this years grades up. The schools you’re looking at don’t just consider grades. They look at SAT or Act scores, extra curricular activity, essays, and recommendations. You need to look at each college’s website and see what they look for in applicants.
