In a really general sense, how would y'all say taking 2 summer classes compares to taking 4 classes during the year in terms of difficulty/workload/etc.? I'm a second year right now.

it’s definitely much easier.

how about compared to 3 classes during the year?

Depends what kind of classes they are, such as math/science vs all north campus classes.

i heard some of the classes in summer school are taught by the TA which is one of the reasons why it is easier. is that why?

let me just say this: i took 2 classes for session C last year and summer school was the ONLY time at UCLA i’ve ever gotten a 4.0

I’m a 3rd year btw.

sigh, i want to take summer schools here but then it costs a lot even with full financial aid(norcal here btw)

none of the summer classes I took were taught by TA’s.

I think taking 3 classes in the summer would be comparable to taking 3 classes in a regular quarter - maybe a little more difficult.
