I was initially watilisted at Colby, but then I got accepted off the waitlist and committed. I am in danger of ending the 2nd semester of my senior year with 2 C’s (one in AP computer science and the other in English 12). My previous GPA was a 3.55 but my 2nd semester senior year GPA is projected to be a 3.16. How bad is this, will they rescind my offer???
Please Help!!!
I would try to raise at least one of the grades up to a B range, but I think you should be fine. If you’re really worried, call Admissions and talk to a counselor. Most likely they won’t rescind someone unless you commit a felony or get really, really bad marks.
I don’t have specific info on Colby, but here is a general article on the subject (which comes up about this time every year all over CC): http://■■■■■■■.com/k8tpx5n
I think a couple B’s or one C at a college like Colby is generally fine, but two C’s will raise some eyebrows. Try to get them up, and good luck!
