right now i have a C+ in AP GOV and a B- in AP STATS
last semester i got B's in both classes. what are my chances of being revoked by ucsd if i end up with 2 C's?

other classes:

AP EURO B+
Discreet Math A+
English Lit B

i didnt see any gpa requirements for senior year on the ucsd letter. UCI says 3.0 or higher. are these unweighted or weighted GPA's. i'm freaking out right now

no, they won't revoke. no college will revoke for 2 C's, no matter how good of a student you were before. think about it: rescinsion means you can't even go to any college, that'll only happen if you did something terrible between the time you were accepted and the time you enroll (like lied on your grade report, failed a class (or got a D or two), committed murder, etc.). why would a college want to keep you from going to the college that you selected?

i have heard of grades such as 2 c's or 1 d revoking your admission to top uc's like ucsd and ucla. i doubt youll get revoked, but it is very possible. work hard and get those grades to b's.

Each UC has a different admission contract. You won't get rescinded with 2 c's. D's and F's will however get your admission revoked. UCSD's admission contract I think or what i've seen on other posts is a 3.0 weighted. Just don't fail a class.

just maintain a 3.0 WEIGHTED GPA. I called the admissions office at UCSD to verify this and it is a 3.0 weighted with NO D's OR F's. C's are OK aslong as you maintain a 3.0. Goodluck and maybe ill bump into you in thh fall at UCSD!

i'm going to uci. and i THINK i may get a D in my ap euro class.. unless i do really well on my final.. i'll get a C.. but for UCI.. what happens? i know seniors who have pulled off getting one D in a class and not getting revoked by UCI.

I know many people who get Ds senior year and wind up at UCI. From what I understand, UCI typically allows for ONE bad grade per student throughout the entire senior year. Don't get a D again, try to get the highest grades possible, and make sure you notify UCI in writing. Its a part of your provisional admission contract, if you didnt see.
