2 days left::: Choosing residence halls

I haven’t chosen which LLC is a best fit for me. Therefore, how does choosing LLC decide which residence hall I will be residing at? I am still baffled about the process.
However, I am planning to live in a residence hall which is quieter yet fun besides the partying, and everything; I am aware that the atmosphere is dependent on students. In addition, residence hall that is in walking proximity to an engineering college so that I can save transportation cost as much as possible.
I have decided to live in a triple occupancy room. Based on these information, which residence hall, if not the best, is close to the best option for me?
It would be helpful if you could share extra facilities, and perks of the residence halls you recommend.

Unless the campus has changed considerably and presuming a nominal level of fitness, all residence halls were within walking distance of all academic buildings. I understood that having the residence halls in “quads” around the central academic area was done for that reason, but maybe I just remember it funny.

As an example, I lived in Anderson (southernmost of South Quad) and had classes in Millett (northernmost academic setting) and it was just possible to make the walk in 15 minutes. To Upham, Kreger, Benton, etc. was an easy 5-8 minutes.

As far as perks, I’m sure that’s changed a lot since the last century, but I kind of enjoyed the Flower/Hahne (North Quad) for a couple of reasons (I did a lot of cycling and Bonham Road was just right there, for example). But on a one-ten scale of things to freak out about, I’d give the dorm about a 1 (aware of it, but surely the least interesting thing to spend energy on).
The LLC’s did not exist, but they used to try and pair up similar types (science/science, business/business, bio/chem) with varying success. I’d guess that if you picked an LLC that’s STEM related, you’ll be likely to get a roommate that studies more than parties. But that’s just a guess and I offer it because no one else has answered.
Hope this is of some help.

My understanding is you can’t choose a dorm. You just need to choose an LLC, and then the University decides which LLCs to put in which dorms based on the number of students who request each LLC.

Good perspective shared in the first response regarding your other concerns.
