2 Kids In Same College

if one child is already in NYU and the other one wants to apply and assuming she gets in, how does financial aid work. Are they a little more generous in their giving or it does not matter.

Nope. My friend Louis is in the same situation. No such luck. Sorry about that :0/

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA YEAH RIGHT!!!!! my older sib is a soph at NYU and im gonna be a freshmen next year...and i got even LESS aid...so lets just say do not count on that at all

wow I really thought univs were a little more considerate whrn it came to legacy and all. Man it is a no win situation!! sad!sad!

Well, NYU doesn't have a particularly big endowment; a lot of colleges will make the financial aid better if two students are in college. NYU can't, because they don't have enough money to do that. :)

man that sucks :( NYU is my dream skool

rabba-talk to your sibling. they obviously can give you comprehensive albeit highly biased info about NYU. if its the place for you, you think, and its feasible financially, then go for it. why not?
