2 Letters of Recommendations from teachers who taught the same subject?

My past English teacher wrote a recommendation for me regarding me as ‘tenacious, intellectual and the best in class’ while also regarding to my involvement with clubs and service, however, it’s quite short, perhaps 200-300 words or so. I did very well in his class however it was simple English. My senior year I took AP Literature and did extremely well (100) in that class too, this teacher is known to write excellent recommendations for her students. I’m applying for STEM however I have no contact with my past science teachers due to my transfer except for one who I didn’t do as well as I should have. I also did well with my math professor for Pre-Calc, however, I knew him for way too little time for him to write me an effective letter. What do you think
Would having 2 ‘good’ letters of recommendation from English teachers affect my chances negatively than a ‘not so good’ Math/Science for a STEM major application?

Generally, schools would want the recs from 2 different subject areas; it does not have to be 1 STEM and 1 humanities. For instance Penn says:

You can certainly contact to admissions office for your target schools to get their guidance. Good luck!

Agree. if you have one English teacher it is generally a good idea to get the second recommendation from a Math or Science teacher.
