If I were to apply for the Jerome Fisher program, does that mean I'll have a disadvantage among the engineering applicants if I get rejected from the program and thrown back into the engineering pool? I want to do ED for engineering but just want to try to get into the Jerome Fisher program.

How are applications read? Is it read like other schools where the application is divided by the schools the students want to enter or will I (who want to go into SEAS) be competing against students shooting for CAS and Wharton for a spot in the undergraduate class?

I don’t think so. I think it says somewhere online that it doesn’t, but you never know what happens during the admissions process.

You apply to a school and compete with that schools’ applicants for admission.

I don’t know if I should risk the chance, you know?
Okay, that’s good. A lot of people from my school are applying to UPENN early but a good chunk are applying to CAS so I hope that doesn’t affect me.
Thanks!
