2 Questions about campus

1) Is there a bus that runs from north campus/freshman dorms down to the engineering quad? If so, how often, and how reliable?

2) Does the collegetown have much night life? Are there night clubs? Many concerts come through Ithaca?

1) Yes, the 81 runs every 10 minutes and stops at Sage Hall, which is right next to the engineering quad. You can get on by the bus stop between the Townhouses and the basketball/tennis courts.

2) Not for people under 21. No night clubs. And yes, there are many concerts.

thanks. how much does it cost to take the 81 up to north campus?

Freshmen get a free unlimited bus pass.

I thought I saw somewhere that Dino's is 18+ w/ cover charge, but my friend says they don't do that anymore.

But yeah...not much to do in Collegetown in the way of partying if you're under 21.

The concert scene in Ithaca is pretty damn good. I saw more quality acts in Ithaca than I did when living in Boston. The problem in Boston was that all the shows sold out in 15 minutes. I don't know how all the hipsters in Brooklyn handle it.

If you are in Ithaca over the summer, make sure to check out the Grassroots Festival. Nothing else like it.

Theres a trance/techno concert Thursday April 17 featuring DJ Yahel, so yea, many different genre of musicians come by Ithaca.
