2 Quick Questions

Two Quick questions, guys. I created a my.neu account so that I could put down the ($400!!!) housing deposit. I did not put down the $200 tuition deposit. Just by registering an account and putting a housing deposit down does not mean I have confirmed my enrollment, right? This is made more confusing by the two options that I have on that page, an option to "defer enrollment" but also an option to "decline admission." I guess they wouldn't offer me the link to "decline admission" if I have already confirmed enrollment?

The other is, I'v already looked at everything Northeastern-related that I could find, but was wondering what other people think about Northeastern's academics, social scene, and overall reputation.

Thanks!

I paid both of the deposits and I still have the decline admission and defer enrollment options on that page. I guess that doesn't really help you though..

Out of my best friends from high school, Northeastern was the worst school that one of us (me) went to. My friends went to BC, Middlebury, Villanova, McGill and some other pretty solid schools. So they jokingly make fun of me saying that I'm dumb or that I shouldn't have gone to Northeastern but I guess I know that I made a solid choice. That may not be what you want to hear, but I grew up with some pretty smart, ignorant people. That being said, I do not regret my decision to go to Northeastern because I have some things they don't have: a chapter in a textbook, a professor who already offered to write a grad school letter of recommendation for me, and a few potential coop jobs that will pay me around $23/hour.
