How do you commit to Northeastern? I went on the admitted portal, but I only found registration dates, paying housing deposits, financial aid, etc.

I believe ya gotta pay the housing deposit.

Nope, housing deposit gets you housing. Tuition deposit gets you a space.

^That would be it! I think you’ve corrected me on that before haha

So is it yes, just the housing and tuition deposit is how you fully commit? I thought you had to sign some paper

Some schools ask you to submit it online, but I’m pretty sure Northeastern doesn’t have that. Other schools ask you to submit it if you know you AREN’T going (which is common for schools with rolling admissions). But a lot are just waiting around to see who pays or not.

If you received a full tuition scholarship, you still pay the tuition deposit, right?
Thanks!

… Um… I’m not sure. You might have to, or you might have to and they will reimburse you, or you might not have to. You should call and ask.

Okay, so the tuition deposit actually does start paying your tuition - it’s not just a confirmatory deal…?
But yes - I’ll be sure to call them haha thanks

Ooooo nevermind – just saw that you still have to submit a non-refundable 200$ deposit
great…!

so i submitted my housing and tuition deposits ($600 total) and my roomate compatability form. Has anyone submitted other forms besides those?

Where did you find the roommate form?

Roommate form is under “self-service”. Possibly have to pay housing deposit before you have access to this. Due before May 2nd.

Thanks. I just decided yesterday and paid the deposits, so I don’t think I’m updated yet.
