2 SATIIs and 2 APs

I'm taking AP chem and AP U.S. history this year. I'm thinking right after/ before I take my AP exam, I may take SAT chem and SAT U.S. history.

My question is - is it a good plan? How is SAT compared to AP for the same subject, in terms of difficulty level?

Yes – in general, though, it is more difficult to get an 800 on a subject test than it is to get a 5 on the corresponding AP exam, so keep that in mind.

You want to take your Subject Tests right before your AP Exams

Nice practice before going into the big test

All the material is fresh on your mind, increasing the chance of scoring an 800

Do it. If you’re doing well in your AP classes, you will do well on the Subject Tests (when I mean well I mean 700+ as a result)
