2 years of O'levels then college

hello, I am a 15 year old student who just finished my 1st year of O’levels. I am currently living in Pakistan but plan to go abroad.
My family’s plan is that we will go to the US next year after i give my CIEs in the second year (even though O’levels is done in three years over here) and for me to go straight to community college.
For me I do not want to do this and want to go to highschool and do 2-3 years there and then go to college as I feel that I will not be able to cope well. Also the fact that there will be an age factor as I will only be 16 and the average age for college students is 18-19.
There is also the fact that I am not very good at communicating with people and I do not think this matters as much but at the same time i do.
Please tell me if I am being unreasonable or if I should in fact do 2 years of O’levels, give my CIEs(and most possibly get average grades) and go to community college.
If I do go what are my chances of doing well?
Also can I go directly to a 4 year college or do i have to go to community college?

It depends a bit on where you go, but community college can be a great place to start. Your tuition costs will be lower, you can easily start part time, etc. In my area, there is a decent subpopulation of high school age kids in the CC’s because they can take classes tuition free. However, the mix of ages and backgrounds has also been a huge bonus for my children. The CC is much more accepting overall than the typical high school might be.

But again, the best educational choice will depend on the quality of your specific high school and your specific community college once you arrive. Four year school might be an option but you would have to figure out if that is affordable then work with international admissions to see if your preparation is sufficient for that school.
