<p>For the three personal statements, does anyone know how long they each should be? Or can anyone recommend a good length?

<p>You'll find out when they come out, but this past year's were 1000 total words. 1 was 600 words, the other 2 were 200 words each. You get to choose which one to write 600 words on. Not sure if they'll continue to do it that way.</p>

<p>The word count was great(as in funny) because they actually had a little counter for you. It was off, though, and said I had two words extra. I don't know where they came from...UT's application actually cut off your essay once you reached the word limit. Sorry, rambling.</p>
