Courses:
Ap Calc BC
AP French lit
AP Physics B

Self-study:
AP It. lang and culture
AP Psych
AP Art History
AP Human Geography

I like the Italian language and it is very similar to French. easy to pick up. Psychology is interesting and good for self-study from what's said on this board. Art history is interesting as well--would be nice to know about.. and Human geography--I've always been interested in cultures around the world and stuff

May I ask how you guys can take on the course load? I can barely manage 1 AP class. I got a 5 in it though but the last month was hell for me. Are you guys expecting 4 and 5s on all of the exams you take?

I expect 3's or better. 3's good for me.
The ones I self-study I'm actually interested in. The other ones, I guess it's cause I'm used to the workload?

I'm expecting 5's on all of them. The schedule isn't really very difficult and I thrive on the challenge that AP courses offer. I also manage my time very well which helps a lot.

Classes next year (junior)
AP English Language and Composition
AP Computer Science AB
AP Calculus BC
AP Physics C: Mechanics
AP French Language (taking French V next year, but my teacher will help me study for the AP)

Self-studying next year
AP European History
AP US Government
AP Comparative Government
AP Macroeconomics
AP Microeconomics
AP Psychology

Might self study next year
AP Art History
AP Music Theory
AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism

I'll only choose one of those last three to do, probably AP Physics. I have Physics C: E/M senior year, but taking it as a junior will suit my purposes better.

Exams already taken
AP Biology (freshman/class)
AP Chemistry (sophomore/class)
AP Environmental Science (sophomore/self study)
AP Human Geography (sophomore/self study)
AP Statistics (sophomore/class)
AP World History (sophomore/self study)

I'm pretty sure I can handle doing 12 AP's next year. Most of the ones I'm self-studying are easy exams to do, with only French and Physics actually requiring some studying. That, and the fact that I've scored 5's on every other AP exam I've taken gives me confidence as well.

Hmm... I've never thought of taking AP Italian, even though I am taking French. I was thinking of self-studying AP Latin and AP Japanese for senior year, but Italian sounds interesting as well. Thanks for the idea, jyi90.

My school has already started; this year I'm a Junior. I go to some ghetto public school in Hawaii and with courses alone I'm taking the hardest courseload of anyone in the school (including seniors). Only one other kid taking these 4 APs with me this year (he's Chinese lol). So since I'm self studying with what most kids at this school think is a ridiculous courseload, I'm thought of being the smartest kid in the school.
