How do you self-study?? My school only offers 12 AP classes and I'm taking all of them.
Sophomore year-AP World History, Environmental Science, Calculus BC, and Statistics
Junior year- AP US History, Biology, Spanish, Comp
Senior year- AP Government, Economics, Chemistry, Literature.
My school only offers those AP classes, and I'm planning to get 4s or 5s on all the AP tests. I just don't get how to improve, because my school does not let you take two science classes in a year, and you have to take Computer Survey and Public Health and Safety.

Sophmore:
AP World (class)
AP Chem (class)
AP Psychology (college class + self)
AP Euro (self)
Maybe AP Bio (class) or AP Environ (class), not sure yet.

ahh, none.

help me out: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=385497

[I'll have 4 IB HL tests though]

darkwkc:
Wow, your school lets you take 4 AP classes as a sophomore? My school only let me take 2. Taking 12 AP exams by the end of your senior year is an amazing feat already, considering that you're maxing out the course offerings. Don't bother self-studying for more tests, unless you're really interested in the subject. By the looks of it, you'll be AP National Scholar by the end of junior year.

I'm taking Bio, US, Chem this year. I took Ap euro last year. I might self study: stats and environmental science

For senior year, I'm planning on taking: english lit, french, bc cal, econ, organic chemistry at harvard

Taking AP Gov, AP Euro, and AP Lit.
Took AP Bio, AP World, AP Physics B (half a semester) and APUSH

Courses taken at school:
AP MicroEcon
AP MacroEcon
AP American Gov
AP Comparative Gov
AP Biology
AP World History

Self study/taking for the heck of it:
AP Chinese (please don't stone me to death with words.)
AP Computer Science AB

Taking AP Calculus AB, AP Literature, AP Biology, AP Spanish Lang
(more than enough for my senior year!)
Took AP Environmental, AP U.S. History junior year.
6 AP's at my school is a lot because it offers barely any :(

well at my school we call these "self-studies" challenges... my school probably only offers 12 aps as well, but we are allowed to register for any ap offered by collegeboard... in a way we arent even affiliated through our school for the exams we are challenging, there is complete freedom, so i just pay my money through the school, pick up a review book and study for the exam im challenging, because no one is there to teach me or tell me to study i end up saving it for the first week of may

i like it, because i can broaden my knowledge, teach myself something new, and hopefully get credit

for the two i challenged this year (junior) it ended up working really well, even though ap week gets a little stressful teaching yourself a class, its well worth it

That sounds pretty challenging..... Mostly my school offers the AP tests for the classes it offers, so people usually take the class with the AP test. It would be kind of nice to self-study some AP's though.

wow, i would never be able to self-study.

Anywayz, AP's already taken in 10th grade:
AP Chemistry - 5
AP Psychology - 5

11th grade (am taking):
AP Statistics
AP English Language
AP Spanish Language
AP Biology

12th grade (will hopefully take)
AP Calculus BC
AP Physics
AP Macroeconomics
AP US Government and Politics
Maybe AP English Literature (too hard?)

And is taking AP Environmental Science really worth it if you think it's boring and Hate class projects, or is it better to just take something like Computer Programming Honors? (And, yes I know that it's apparently the "easy" AP)

And question to people taking more than 5 AP's or self-studying a couple. Do you guys expect on getting all 5's, or at least a 4? That would just be like a bigger WOW. Good luck to all!

Senior Year AP Classes:
