I just went to the Blue & Gold game at Notre Dame with a few friends and fell in love with it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me my chances? I should have my first SAT scores tomorrow, but my overall GPA is around a 3.7, with 7 APs by next year. I'm extremely involved in extra-curriculars, I'll have 6 varsity letters by next year and possibly the soccer captain, I'm in student council, yearbook staff, odyssey of the mind, I've been a camp counselor for 2 years at a local week-long camp, I tutor freshmen in spanish and teach Sunday school on the weekends as well as lector at my church. I just got accepted into National Honor Society, which requires a ton of community service but I already have a lot completed from my participation in my church's youth group. My math grades over the years haven't been so great, which has made my class rank not as wonderful as it could be. I'm probably somewhere in the 7-10% of my class...But my high school is an extremely competitive New York public school...My dad is also an alumnus, but will that help me very much? One more thing, as well; my grades as a freshman were well below the Notre Dame standard...I don't even want to post them, but my GPA this year has been nearly perfect, and I'm taking 3 APs. Will Notre Dame look at only the complete GPA, or will they notice the significant upward trend and reward me for that? I'm sorry I'm being so obsessive, but I've been wanting this information all weekend.
Thanks!

Your overall GPA anyway is good so I even if you had an upward trend it wouldn't even really matter, I mean yeah thats good but your GPA is already good. That is UW I presume? As for SAT score sthey should probably be 2200+ and if you have all those EC's you will def. boost your chances. Overall I think you have a pretty good chance, if you really want to go their you might as well apply ED to improve your chances.
