My principal gave me a lecture arising from the fact that I signed up for 11 classes, while my school has only 8 periods. I had to give him a prioritized list. I know the classes for which I registered, but I won't know which ones I can take until the week before school starts. Scheduling at my school is hard because all classes are offered only once or twice during the school day, with only one teacher for each.

Here is my Senior schedule dissected into the Good, the Bad, and the Ambivalent.

Good:
AP Biology - the FIRST AP CLASS EVER OFFERED AT MY SCHOOL (because my school is a dinosaur pretending to be an institution of learning) with an awesome teacher (she was my advanced bio teacher last year and the advisor of my favorite club this year).
Anthropology - My only non-required non-honors course. Taking it because I have the (awesome) teacher for advanced US History and every day I see all the wicked surveys and discussion material they do lying around the room(Antropology's the period after my class).

The Bad:
College English - horrible, horrible teacher. What makes it much worse is that this year I have an AMAZING English teacher, so the letdown's going to be intense. Again, this class is only on the Bad due to its teacher.
Public Affairs - A required class in my school. Drop-dead boring and probably just going to be a lot of unpleasant busy work, but better than its alternative (People in Government, which is basically the dumbed down version of Public Affairs).
SUPA (College) Sociology - I don't know anything about the teacher, but I've heard that the subject is dull and the class is unpleasant (another required course).

The Ambivalent:
Calculus II and III - I'm very happy to be TAKING the class, but I have never taken PreCalc. I'm taking Calc I at a community college this summer to catch up with the track; I am scared s***less (both for the summer course and for next year).
French V (College Level 2 course) - I do not like French. I am entirely indifferent to French. However, I also happen to be fairly good at French, and it's a college-sophomore course, so on the list it goes.
Gym - Because I have to according to NYS law.

Now that I think about it, I'm really sad to leave my junior year class list. I have had superlative teachers all across the board this year (not a single bad one), and life will never be what it is now without my Advanced Physics teacher. He's everyone's "once in a lifetime" teacher - he's retiring next year.

Senior year! yay!

I can't believe that my first year is done! I have a whole lot to look forward to with my sophomore schedule next year:

Honors English
AP World History
AP Calculus AB (I'm a little nervous for this since I am taking Pre-Calc. over the summer;I think I'll be prepared though; everyone thinks I'm taking Pre-Calc. so it will be interesting to tell my competitive friends)
AP Physics B (I'm the only sophomore in this class and my school doesn't offer Physics C, so I will have to study that Junior year)
Honors Spanish 4
PE (I'm gonna have to enjoy this class as much as possible with my busy schedule)

*I wish my school had more courses like Philosophy and other diverse areas of study. Most of you guys are lucky that you have more freedom to pursue a wide spectrum of classes. Oh well...

well heres my schedule for this year (junior year). I am upcoming snr.
