I bombed FRQ… I think I got like 5 or 6/14 right. >.< Confused a LOT of terms.

If I had like a 90/100 MC score (overall, I answered all of 'em)… should I be in 5 range? Just guessing my MC score… I felt confident about like 95% and I think I missed only 1 so far (but that one’s not 100% sure right… so…)

I found it to be a bit difficult, but I had an insane workload with many AP tests this year.

I also was unfortunate to not have the Barons, or Princeton review books which alot of you guys said was extremely helpful. I’m just hoping for the best.

If you can get 70 on the MC (so -24 + -6 penalty) and a 35 on the essay (70% so 7/10 on each essay) and STILL get a guaranteed five. The above situation would net you a 105, 103 is the highest cutoff I’ve seen (some say it’s as low as 93).

I’m really hoping to get a 5, I thought it was easy, though I crammed everything in over the weekend and had never heard of a few of the studies XD

Barron’s was so helpful, it perfectly prepared me

I thought the MC was really easy…I’m 99% sure I got in the 80’s. As for the FR, the first was really easy, but I had to make a few educated guesses on the second one >_< I hope I got lucky with that.

I also got an hour of sleep! Finished the MC 45 minutes early and slept, and I finished the FR 25 minutes early (but I only got 15 minutes of sleep during that because the person next to me stood up really loudly).

MC was easy, only a few that were confusing, and the FRQ was insanely easy. Will get a 5. I used the PR and thought that they skipped over a lot, but most of that I could recall from the course or figure out by deriving the words’ meanings.

As for the score conversions, the test is out of 150 points. The essay looked like it had 14 points, 7 each, so they will be multiplied by roughly 3.5 to get the FRQ score. The MC points will be calculated as described and be out of 100 possible raw points. The conversions USNA is referring to are from past practice tests. 103/150 was a five on one of the more recent released tests. PR uses 105/150.

Keep in mind that most of the people commenting here have a much higher propensity for getting a 5, and my experiences have been that CC doesn’t give a real indication of what the curves will be when everybody says it was easy. I took a test with 108 other kids and out of that group very few felt it was easy. Good luck to all!

I think I got at least a 3, maybe even a 4. haha I didn’t know some parts of the FRQ’s and I think that’s what’s going to kill me. But I seriously don’t care, I’m done with AP’s and I graduate in a couple of days…

"How long was you guy’s first FRQ?
The test was pretty easy over all, i have to say/ "

My first FRQ was 2 pages, and my second was 1.5 pages. The second was shorter because I guessed on a few of them and didn’t want to push my luck lol

How long are FRQ’s even supposed to be, btw? My teacher only talked about them for about 15 minutes one day and never mentioned them again >_< I still think I did well on them, but I want to be sure.
