Oh, cool. Do they grade you on having an introduction and a conclusion? I didn’t really know if it was necessary, so all I did was an introduction sentence

Bigb14 - you’ll definitely have a 5
Gia89 - lucky:)

cld: You don’t need an intro or conclusion. I had two intro sentences b/c the examples I read in Barrons had them, but I know they just grade each bullet point as one point, so intros and stuff don’t matter.

I had a lot of time on my hands when I finished though – probably about 15 minutes.

It was so easy, the college board should change the name to the Advanced Placement Examination in Joke Psychology. I never took a Psychology class before, I bought the Kaplan review book, (which completely sucked…the practice tests had info that wasnt in the review) read it sunday night and monday night …took the test…guessed on about 5 MC question and guessed on 4 FR and upon consulting the book afterwards reliased I guessed right for the 4 FR and 1 MC…I’m going to make a 5 and I only studied for like 20 hrs.

that was so freakin easy. unbelievable.

giveaway ap

You guys will be surprised to see how many MC you actually got right. It seems easy, but they’re tricky.

And the essay grading is very strict. They are looking for very specific things. You could be completely right about your point, but if you dont have it the way they like it, you wont get the point.

To Calculate Your Score:
Raw = (MC Correct - 0.25Incorrect) + (FR Bullets Answered Correctly/14)50
5 = 93 (As low as) - 103 (As high as) / 150
4 = 73 (As low as) - 84 (As high as) / 150

We had to answer our essay in Bullets? How is that an essay

"You guys will be surprised to see how many MC you actually got right. It seems easy, but they’re tricky. "

Really? On practice tests, I mostly got wrong what I expected to get wrong. I don’t really know about the FRQ though >_<

"You guys will be surprised to see how many MC you actually got right. It seems easy, but they’re tricky. "

Yea, I agree with that.
On practice tests MCs I could’ve swore I aced with 95s and 90s, I ended up with 75s-85s because some of the questions that seemed really easy (disregarding the questions where you really just need to know a single vocab word) were actually pretty tricky.

There were a lot of questions that were extremely similar… and I agree that the questions I know I got right on practice were right and those that I questioned were wrong…
fadeaway - we never actually get to know what we got right/wrong on the MC we just get a number:( I can’t speak for everybody, but I know that I’m at least very experienced with AP exams and other ones as well, and I’m guessing that others are as well. There may be some overconfidence, but I can’t recall a standardized test where I didn’t predict nearly exactly how I did afterward.

way too easy…wow…i was like…dannggg no matter why psychology is an “easy ap”

ugh. Im really nervous because everybody is saying that it was really easy. That means less of a curve. Then again, Im always nervous after an exam.

no wonder why :)

“ugh. Im really nervous because everybody is saying that it was really easy. That means less of a curve. Then again, Im always nervous after an exam.”

Don’t worry. I heard a lot of people at school saying how difficult it was.

Feed - careful, you’re better off to wait two days

…damn

I think that might of cost me a 5

~105 is around the cutoff for a 5 right ?

around 104

I agree with whoever said that the MC can be tricky. I remember taking the '94 exam and got 22 wrong on the MC. I took the '99 exam right after and got 40 wrong but this '09 exam was very, very simple.

I got -18 on 2007 and -6 on 2004, so I think I should be ok for this one. I thought it felt more like 2004.
