ahh can anyone post the math curve??

Saturday test:

CR: 5 wrong, 0 omitted. Score- 70, 97th percentile.
M: 2 MC wrong, 2 MC omitted, 1 free response wrong, 1 free response omitted. Score- 67, 93rd percentile.
W: 0 wrong, 0 omitted. Score- 80, 99th percentile.
Overall: Score- 217, 99th percentile.

That’s a very generous math curve.

Can you offer anything about the debatable questions?

I hope the Wednesday test had a generous math curve like the Saturday one.

I hope it had a brutal curve. I hope the CR and Writing had generous curves.

^Yeah, some of the CR questions were pretty debatable (disdain vs. resentment) and a couple writing questions were the same way. But I got 3 wrong on math so I hope that will be around 70.

The CR curve does not look real favorable.

My son received his. Forgive my ignorance because we had never even heard of the PSAT as we are Canadian. His school just offered it this year so he took it.
CR 72 - 98% 4 answered incorrectly - 0 omitted
Math 63 - 87% 8 answered incorrectly - 1 omitted
Writing 63 - 92% 6 answered incorrectly - 0 omitted
96% overall - 198.
Hope that helps you figure out what you are trying to.

I don’t know how many I got wrong; that’s why I did not post.

Critical Reading - 99th Percentile - 77
Math - 99th Percentile - 73
Writing - 99th Percentile - 74
Total - 224

I don’t know my overall percentile, and I don’t know if the math and writing percentiles are correct. They showed me my scores quickly, and I did not get my wrong answers or anything else. I’m pretty darned happy with my score, though. I was aiming for a 225+, but I had a family funeral the day before, and the test was rough for me.

^Could you post when you took the test? Was it on Saturday or Wednesday?
Thanks

Opie, did you put, “angered workers to threaten a general strike” or “so angered workers that they have threatened a general strike”.

^ Don’t remember what exactly it was, but I believe for that question I chose the longest answer. So I think it was the second one there, or some close variation.

^^^ Wednesday

^So you don’t know what the answer was for the disdain vs. resentment one?
Do you remember any of the questions that you were sure of that were debated in the PSAT thread?

^No, I’m so sorry. I was so out of it when I took the PSAT. I only remember the math ones that annoyed me.

What was the answer for the math one with the A B and X points. I don’t remember the exact question but what did you put?

How about math for there being 3 points, and 3 possible-options. Which of the 3 possible-options must be true. I put all 3.

to anyone with form W, what were last two writing answers, because I remember those questions.

Could somebody just post up a summary of what the definite solutions are based on the answer key that was received?

Does anyone understand why some people have scores and others do not? Do you think all/most schools have the scores now?
