All, We use a rather odd system of invitations that is (I believe) unique to us. I would rather not go into detail except to say that not every invitation has been sent as yet. In addition, there will be students who we will place on a VERY VERY short waitlist. If you have specific questions, don’t hesitate to send me an email via my coastal email address. I’ll let you know where you stand as of this moment.

We have not sent out notices to those we believe would benefit from a different training program. Those will happen later this week and into next week. Simply attempting to make certain that the wrong email doesn’t get sent to the wrong person.

Again, questions are best sent directly to me. kmartin@coastal.edu

Just waving hi Ken! Sorry you are working over spring break, but at least my pesky D is off campus for a few days and can’t bother you. I look forward to seeing you again next month at Philadelphia Story!

Your pesky D will be working spring break with me next year as our auditions coordinator. Well… maybe not the whole spring break like me, but she’ll be working from home at least. See you soon.

My D auditioned for both BFA Acting and BFA MT, she received acceptance for one of them. How will she find out about the other? Can she be accepted into both BFA programs then make a choice or could she be wait listed for the other? and if not will the rejection came in a letter form for the other program? Thanks!

Not knowing who your D is I can’t really answer the question completely. It isn’t likely that we would sent a negative letter to anyone we admitted into one program but not the other - just too confusing. It is possible to be accepted into both programs (we have had students who have been accepted into both Acting and Physical Theatre) but it is unlikely.

Please just send me a direct email and I’ll be happy to clear up any confusion regarding your daughter.
