2010 ap calculus ab curve!!! Its ab not bc

hey guys, i just took the test today. thought it was pretty challenging.

i am thinking of curve of 60 to get a 5... what do you think? easy? hard?
btw i m international.

one of my problems had an animal in it (did you guys have one with a small animal?)

vote: curve of 60? 65? 70? 75?

thanks,
henrymoore

I just took it today too (international). Personally I found the MC way easier than the FRQs…I answered all the questions and am pretty confident about it. I got EXTREMELY lucky because the only MC I didn’t know how to do happened to be a question I’ve seen before in my review, almost exactly the same XD and I also happened to memorize the answer to that question :stuck_out_tongue: so lucky!

I’ve seen all those the types of FRQs that were on the test but blanked out on a few haha and yes I had a small animal in one of the FRQs hahaha

ummm i’d say 70+ should be a 5…

lol draw an elephant

yeah but if you skip some of those frqs, its pretty hard to get a 5.

thanks

no I “blanked out” as in I kinda stumbled on a few, but I didn’t leave any blank~

But even if you DO leave a few blank, you can still get a 5 if you do well on MC. If you get like 40 on MC, u can basically not get 3 whole questions and still get a 5 lol

Ah i just hope the curve is like 60-65 cause I think I messed up the FRQs section. :(

It’s okay Malfunction, it’s not just you haha I hope everyone messed up on FRQ so we get a better curve :D

MC out of 28, i left like 4 blank. most of them sure

MC out of 17, i left like 3 blank, like 2 or 3 unsure

FRQ

 1. like 7 out of 9ish
 2. like 3 out of 9ish
 3. like 3-4 out of 9ish
 4. like 5 out of 9ish
 5. like 4-5 out of 9ish
 6. like 3-4 out of 9ish…

I DONT WANT A HIGH 4 I WANT A LOW 5

hey guys, but the frq was REALLLLLLY HARD.

mc wasnt THAAAAT easy either

and is the multiplier always 1.2??
the mc wasnt that hard either yall

henry, I just did a quick add up of your score in the worst-case scenario, getting about 66.1 out of 108. Umm I’m really not sure if this would be a 4 or 5 because its so on the borderline >.<

I remember seeing somewhere that 65 was the five cutoff on the 2008 exam. So, you guys compare the FRQs of today to 2008. The multiple choice are similar from my experience.

^ are you sure that’s not the BC exam? I always thought AB hovered at around 70+…

IIRC that’s what I saw in a thread around here… Not really sure though.

ITS AB.
i took 2008 as apractice test, but for 2008 it was 65.

I SWEAR!!!
thanks

I am in agreement that the multiple choice was pretty easy, but the FRQs were hard…we hadn’t gone over several of the topics that were on them.

Hopefully the easy won’t balance out the hard and we’ll get a good curve…

i thought the exam was pretty hard. i had to leave several FRQ blank. can i still hope for a 4?

I sucked the FR. But it’s possible to completely skip half of the FR and get a 5…so I think I got a 5…

Janinabear, yeah I think you can definitely get a 4 still.

MC - 28 - 9 unsure(eliminated and took gut guesss), 2 skipped
mc - 17 - 2 unsure, 1 wrong

FR - i think i got 5/6+ on all of them.

Yo “henrymoore” do u remember what the free response questions themselves in the section A of the free response section? Jus gimme one word and ill remember it… i know there was one about snow and one about a zoo… what was the other one???
