2010 ap calculus ab curve!!! Its ab not bc

There’s no way you failed if you got half the FRQ points and did decent on multiple choice.

That’s what I am thinking. I’ll probably end up getting a 3 or 4. I’ll take BC next year and hopefully I’ll enter that exam with confidence.

I definitely think that the curve was generous. I actually thought I did so bad on the FRQs, and everyone in my class thought we did horribly. This year was probably harder than previous years, which would explain the lower curve.

woah! im pretty sure i did absolutley horrible on free response and mediocre at best on mc, exdpected a 4 at best but got a 5 haha. soooo lucky

I thought I did well on MC but pretty poorly on FRQ. Still got a 5, so I agree that the curve seemed generous.

Action52, you never know, there’s still hope for a 5 because of the curve…

I know I’m in the minority, but I thought the free response was easier this year on AB. When my teacher went over the answers a week after the test, I felt pretty confident that I got either a 53 or 54 (out of 54). On old tests, I was consistently getting around a 40, lol.

^I was completely the other way around. I estimate I got maybe a 45 on this FRQ but I usually got between 52 and 54.

Oh, also I thought the calculator multiple choice were exceedingly easy, and I doubt I got any wrong. The no calc ones were a little harder and I skipped three and guessed on another 3.

I would be very surprised if I missed more than two on the multiple choice. I usually miss one or two and I thought these questions were way easier. Also, I remember not really using my calculator at all for most of the calculator allowed multiple choice.

Glad to hear that there should be a generous curve. Maybe I’ll get my 5 after all :)

Im sure i missed 2/3 on MC and got 1/2 points for FRQ section. Got a 5.

The curve was indeed generous.

I estimate that I got 4/5 MC right and 1/2 FRQ correct. I got a 5 as well.

The curve was ridiculous.

I think I got about 2/3 on MC right but less than 1/3 right on free-response. =(
What do you think my score will be?

^Call and find out. :p

Honestly, we don’t know what the curve is at this point. You’re bound to be in good shape - if it soothes your nerves a bit, chances are that you passed.

Loves curves.

Yikes! I received a 3 for the AP Calculus AB 2010 exam…I must have done really bad if it was curved that generously…

I have to admit that the FRQ was a bit hard…thought I had failed the exam.

Just called in today and found out that I received a 5 for the Calc AB exam. I’m extremely happy. :D

I also got a 5 on the bc exam and I think I got like 50% of the whole test right

This makes me feel a bit more optimistic about the exam since I was pretty sure I failed it (and I only need a 4 for credit).
I didn’t think MC was too bad but the FRQs absolutely killed me.

I’m thinking I 5’d this one.
