anyone else write essays 3 and 4? I think my essays were pretty good

I found it very easy. For MC I believe I got 6-7 wrong at the most and I left 2 blank. For the DBQ I wrote 3 pages and used 6 documents. I incorporated a decent amount of outside info. As for the other 2 FRQ’s, I beasted the first one and did well on the next one also. Expecting at least one 7 or higher for an essay with rest either 6’s or 7’s.

^ I wrote 3 and 4. I was kind of general and not specific on number 3 but I included a bit of outside info. Hoping for a 4-5

when can we start discussing the MC? is there an embargo on that?

yea i wanna kno too

We can never discuss the MC :

we can’t discuss the MC period

Thats disappointing

Why can we discuss SAT questions but not Ap questions?

due to the fact that 60 people have clicked on the link, I’m reposting [AP Pass - AP Us Calculator](AP U.S. History Test Score Calculator - AP Pass) for convenience

some of the AP MC questions will be reused in future years

Does anyone know by how much the numbers for a 4 on the Appass website are accurate? Also, do you guys think it will be a 85.0/180 for a 4 this year as well? And a 108/180 for a 5?

The numbers on the website were the grading scale for the 2006 or 2008 test I believe. The Collegeboard changes the numbers every year based on how well everyone does; if it’s a hard test, they will have an easy grading curve

so the calculator is not perfect, but it should be within a few points of the real thing

So… would you guys say this was hard, medium or easy test?
I thought it was medium, MC wasnt too bad, DBQ was alright and the FRQ’s were alright

Yea, what would you guys say the cut-off for a 3 would be? Did it ever get higher than 75?

I think this is an easy/medium test because the MCs were so easy. I’m pretty sure there are plenty of people who got a 80/80 on the MCs. In fact, most of the MCs were in Crash Course.

The DBQ wasn’t that hard; it just surprised a lot of people. Ironically, it was actually someone’s prediction on CC.

The FRQs were pretty easy. In my opinion they were much easier than the DBQ.

I had never really studied how to write a dbq. I thought I wrote a really good one but this thread has gotten me somewhat nervous. I used about five of the sources, but by “used” I mean I quoted them or referred to them or something really quickly. For hte most part I drew on outside information (mainly ideas, not as many facts). Will this really hurt me? Or can one get a good grade on it like this?

I thought it was WAYY better than I expected.

But I think I screwed up because, for the FRQ #2, I wrote about Mexican influx of immigration 1945-1985, and I’m not even sure if that’s true…

I loved one MC with a picture. Everyone complained about that because they hadn’t learned it… I don’t know how to say it without giving it away. I’ll just say red liquid.
