2010 EA Deferred

Well, I was deferred as were many of you. I haven't lost hope, and I know that Apfreak hasn't and I hope that none of you do either (Well, maybe on second thought, I do hope you all rescind your applications, JK). Now, there are many more questions. First, to xjayz, byerly, northstarmom, and others, what should we do? Write new essays? Send new letters of recommendation? Cure Cancer? Volunteer? Join a sport?
Secondly, where else are you all applying? Any suggestions? Any successes?
I'm applying to P-ton, Johns Hopkins, U of FL, Duke, Cornell, Wash U (st. louis), and MIT (already accepted to Michigan).
Best of luck.

I'm applying to washu and Cornell and john hopkins too!!!

also, yeah, deferral advice? i haven't been on cc since the decisions (kind of discouraging) but i'd love advice. i'm thinking one rec letter more and MAYBE one more essay; also my counselor has great connections so i'm hoping that will work in my favor. :-/

so, advice, yes?
