2011 Exams - No more deduction for wrong answers?

<p>It will be interesting having higher curves for these exams. I suppose having no more guessing deductions will require a higher curve to keep it balanced.</p>

They are being implemented in fall of 2010, meaning the changes take effect with the 2011 exams. </p>

<p>No, the curve will not be the same. It changes every year anyways, but now with this change, the curve will vary even more.</p>

<p>I read the “Scoring the AP Exam” for AP Spanish and they will still be deducting. It’s in the Teacher’s Guide, correct? Or is it somewhere else?</p>

<p>The Teacher’s Guide online or in print? I <em>think</em> any reference to the change will still only be online for the time being.</p>

<p>Even if they do remove the deduction system, the curve will likely be modified so that it’s just as difficult to get a 5. Nothing to be alarmed about.</p>
