2011 January SAT: Math

It was 3, confirmed

what was the egg problem again? something about 1/2 4 eggs, 2/3 of the rest 3 eggs, then something about 52 eggs for one? please help

@abc, NO. 2/5 is going to be right. It better be, or else I will flip ****.

@DrillKid: Me too -_- I already missed one (hexagon) because I counted to 6th figure, instead of 5th.
@caveat: 3 and the second was -2 because it was positive and the min was (0,-1)

@McKen171

The egg one was 1080 (forgot the question)

ugh i needed to do well on the math section, but now im thinking i did terrible. at least 2 wrong grid ins, 1 mc omit, and prob at least 2 mcs wrong…

is there any possibility this could still be at least 700?

@boomroasted
Possible, but unlikely.

@debater27: Do you remember the question for the slope one? I think I might’ve missed a negative sign…

the egg question was. there are 3 cakes that need to be baked, for half of the cakes 4 eggs are used for each cake. for 2/3 of the cake that is left 3 eggs are used. and the remaining cake needs 2 eggs for each cake and there are 54 eggs. how many EGGS total needed?

^pretty sure i messed something up there…however the answer i remember is 1080. can anyone help correct the question? i tried to remember best i could mckenn!!

do you think one omit will still total out to an 800?

mcken, probably not.

@Mcken171: Most likely, no.
@debater27: It was 1/2 of cakes need 4 eggs, 2/3 remaining need 3 eggs, and 54 need 2 eggs. How many are needed total. 1080.

@ McKen 171. Omit one and getting one wrong is the same thing, because its -.25 for filling in an incorrect answer, and it rounds up.

Hey what did you guys get for the question about the graph for the cost of 35 products? It was between 5000 and 6000 and seemed like a 5500 but the only answer choices close to that were 5200 and 5700 I think. I ended up choosing 5700. What did you guys put?

5700 for sure

I put 5700. It was definitely above the half mark.

5700 for me too!

what was the answers to the hexagon?
61?

oooh, silly mistake! yeah, you are right!!

do you remember a question about collinear graph points?
