2011 January SAT: Math

2 10charsssssssssssssssssssssssss

@altamash I put 60 too. I just forgot to add 1. Sad

I wrote 2 units for the overlap. I divided each stick into 3 parts (each part being two) and it added up to 22 with an overlap of 2.

really hoping its the middle curve viollinprayer. but i think -1 will be 780, but i am not sure.

May 2009 was hella hard and was 800 800

Was it comparable to the Jan 2011?

are you saying getting four wrong would be a 780?

@yvettec the answer was 1, not 2 because i think 3 of the 5 sticks had 2 overlaps per each. so it was 5+4+4+4+5, which is equal to 22

I put 2.

There were 4 overlaps.

4+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+4

Does anyone remember the the percentage question with the cake? I got 324.

and can anyone tell me what the question was for the 2/3 one?

i really hope the curve is good this test :)

I m a chinese guy,you can ask me any questions tat you want. ^^

sry i meant 2 haha

Did anyone else get the math experimental section? I think I aced the experimental section, but skipped a few in the real one… I can’t really remember any of the problems in the second 25 minute one.

the possible choices for the #2 grid in were

256, (2^8)
81, (3^4)
36 (6^2)
and i think 1 worked? (64^1 ==> 1^64)

and yes it was definitely 9;4 trust me…

the pie graph of the tickets of soemthing was 420

can someone start a critical reading/writing thread?

can anyone explain the problem which had three squares and it asked for the side lengh of the small square? the answer was (sqrt(5)-1)/2 or something

Can someone explain/pick a definite answer for the sticks overlapping question?

@agmazzuckelli
what was one of the problems of the math experimental??? i also had a math experimental

there is one go to sat prep

i think the overlapping one was 2
