2011 January SAT: Math

It was 2.

Also I almost had the very first math question wrong before I noticed my dumb mistake (number line)… hohohoho that would have been disgraceful.

I m sure the math section which has ticket is extra,beacuse i did 3 section math.

was it like C for the #line?

@DJ
I can’t really remember any of the experimental questions, I was hoping that the section with the straight line as a diagonal, the two square last question, and the series was the experimental because I skipped a couple. I had that section and then I had another math right after it which I aced, so I hope that wasn’t the experimental, but I can’t remember any of the questions from that section.

Could you guys remind me what the questions for those two 4’s and the 20 were?

was it like C for the #line?

I think - C was to the left of the -1.5 mark, right? I put B which was on the -2 mark… IDK why.

@leex
wasn’t the ticket question a grid-in, and if so, I’m pretty sure that there’s always one grid-in section so that wouldn’t be the experimental section.

the question about the common 2 digit numbers that can be divided by 3 and 5??

What was the question with the answer of 1/3?

does anybody who had the section with the questions about the square diagonal line or the weird series question remember if they had another experimental section for sure, like four critical reading sections or three writing (other than the essay)

was it just me, or was the math section hard?

Something divided by 10 with r 4 and something divided by 10 with remainder of something else. =/ What was that one?

@aigi
the answer to that was 4, it asked if h divided by 10 has remainder 6 and k divided by 10 has remainder, what is the remainder when h+k is divided by ten

remainder was 4
common 2 digit number one was 6 and it was an mc

Integers with remainders 6 and 8 when divided by 10. Find remainder when sum is divided by 10. I got 4.

Ugh I can’t believe I missed the hexagon problem! Crap.

Hmm, chances of -1 800 curve?

did anyone get the question after the 50/51 one? The answers had something to do with sqrt3/2 sqrt3-1/2? It was a geometry problem where you had to find the length of a segment.

((sqrt3)-1)/2 was the answer. Choice E.

I got (sqrt5 -1)/2
