2011 Motto

I don’t know how I didn’t notice this for the past two weeks but I finally realized what the basics were chanting for their class motto: “Twenty Eleven Endless Horizon!” I couldn’t even laugh because it was so horrible! And I thought our class had the worst… I heard some of the basics yelling out “One one git-her-done” but that probably won’t last a while before they get in trouble.

The motto is assigned to each class during BCT by Group Staff. But a class can officially request to change their motto during the year, which is hard to do as proven by c/o 2007. Ours was changed half way throughout BCT and the original was actually better. I think 2011 could use any help they can get right now. If you guys have some ideas, we can perhaps try to get it changed during 2nd BCT.

It usually rhymes or has a rhythm to it. Here are some of the pasts:
2010 - “Strength Within”
2009 - “09 Our Time”
2008 - “Choose Your Faith”
2007 - “To The Stars” – (They tried changing this to “007 License to Kill” and got rejected because of PC reasons)
2006 - “Feel the Fire”
And so on…

How 'bout "One-One Into the Sun" as a play off of The Air Force Song, "Climbing High into the Sun"?

Since "11 get her done" is obviously not politically correct enough, but the young ones are chanting it how about "11 getting it done"

2011- Stairway to the heavens

Husbands edited ( better _) input
2011-Running down the heavens

is 2008 choose your faith? i always heard choose your FATE.

Ahhh sorry spelling error as I was typing too fast :o

You're correct, it is "FATE."

Yeah i know several classmates who are not too fond of the whole "endless horizons" ...

We've been shouting "one one git 'er done" when we walk into Mitch's.

Doolie day out is the best idea ever.
