**2011 Oct international CR**

@stevenyy and eachdaycounts: do you remember the question? is it about the author’s emotion when describing the thick air and the floating house???

@ Lucazzz … what was that " design life " question? . Do you remember all the options?
and i guess stirring experience was for the question that said…which of the following best describes the author’s experience

@ahmehmood: the “design life” is a term in the passage and the question asks about its implication. The term is right after few sentences describing the plan to build houses that will last only for few decades.
do you remember the other choices in the “stirring experience” question??

Why wasn’t the “paradise” question: that no word could properly describe his feelings or whatever it was?

Did someone choose an answer including “opportunism” or something like that in SC?

I think about “gratification” and “admiration” that “admiration” is correct cuz in passage, auther use tems of “respect”, “homage” and write somthing like repect, admire not gratification cuz gratification means satisfication… why gratification is correct? two words of “respect” and “homate” really the facts of “admiration” and “gratification” dont fit the meaning of the passage cuz gratification = satisfication…
I think gratification never be answer.

@lzy19940301
That word should be the correct answer. The context is about a politician who was previously regarded as “faithful” or something but later criticized as “opportunistic” because he changed his belief purely in order to gain more support.

yeah i chose opportunism too
@bearbox: it’s the respect to the connectivity between past and future. The author just describes his concept about the connectivity and believes good buildings show our respect to it. I think there’s no clear object for him to “admire”, but certainly he tells about it with pleasure.

@Lucazzz

Yes, but “gratification” dose not maen somthing pleasure rather satisfy… not thankful
and repect to the connectivity between past and future that is some part of admiration of past builiding so, it is clear that admiration is correct and i remember that i right this question in 2010 November cuz i receive my result table.

@bearbox: I think result table does not show the answer in particular question?

@lucazzz no, not online i receive a result table as letter, though i dont know really answer but i can know i right any number question.

Anyone remember the “morning” q in the butterfly passage?
the q is abt why morning is with a quotation mark.

@AuroraHotaru
In the butterfly text, quotation marks are there to indicate that it is “morning” for the butterflies whose biological clock was altered.

yeah i know.
somebody said the answer choice is " from the prospective of butterfly"
is this the same choice as “altered biological clock of the butterflies”?? i remember i choose this one

Yes, I am quite sure that they are the same choice but just two different dictations. After all, this question is not hard at all.

yeah. i probabaly get the right choice
thx :)

Do you remember other choices for the ‘design life’ question? coz I can’t be sure which one I chose… Thx in advance!

I think I did horribly on CR, especially the one with construction passage -_- Am I the only one struggling with it?
