2013 International SAT Reasoning Answer

Hi, I took the international version this Jan, and am dubious about a couple of the CR long-passage question.

The Passage was about the introduction of the story and african lady garden thing.. (i believe you all recognize)

The purpose of one lined sentence "the truth is... ~~~ "
-I put A- explain broad generalization. Is it right?

Vocab in the context question about "Land" most nearly means..

I put A- arrive. Is this also right?

Sentence Completion Question..

Forgetting customer's order and blurblur only increased her _________

I put A- levity. Some said the answer is chagrin.. please tell me which is right.

Another question is.. If if got 3 wrong on CR, is it possible to still get 800?

Ugh. this thing is killing me..

the CR this time is the same as the March 2010 SAT

i wrote arrive for no. 2 as well, and no.3 was chagrin

Hey!
I can tell you one thing for sure: chagrin was the right answer since levity means something entirely different.
I wrote “dismounted” for that ‘arrive’ one that you are talking about, and most people are pretty confused over the two choices, since the question was about “landing” at some place.
Yup, thats a broad generalisation/
Which one was the writing experimental? The passage with the octopus or beach combers?

Hi,
I just curious how you can know the passage was derived from march 2010 test? How I can get the past march SAT?
Btw, I am an international student

@wewillwin, the beach comer was the experimental section. I checked with others also. It was harder than the octopus section.

I guess one was about beach was dummy
