2011 Packard Fellows Announced (news item)

<p>The Packard Foundation has just announced its 16 Packard Fellows for 2011. These are among the brightest young factulty stars in science and engineering and each is awarded a grant of $875,000.00 for his or her research. The Packard is one of the most generous award programs in academia.</p>

<p>Princeton, Harvard, Stanford and Yale each had one Fellow this year and no school had more than one. Princeton’s winner was Asst. Professor Bogdan Bernevig in physics.</p>
