acceptmeut,

That Navy experience should be heavily emphasized on your resume, and I believe a 3.53 will get you into the college of education.

I’m an Army veteran, if you have any questions feel free to ask.

@Propayne7 It’s heavily emphasized, about to submit my app and all the documents. I am just doing a final check. #crossingfingers

acceptmeut,

You’ll be fine brother. Make sure you come to Student Veterans Services when you get here so we can update you on how the process works here at UT so your tuition gets paid and your money comes in on time.

i have a 3.0 gpa on 12 hrs from dual credit courses in high school which im ashamed of lol and a 3.6 gpa on 22 hours at my first real college year. Which do you think UT Admisions will weigh on more heavily in my decision? A’s in all science courses on 3.6 gap? Anyone you know in similar situation get in?

I am in the same position. I made a 3.2 from ACC dual credit, and a 3.8 at my current college. UT told me they combined my gpa and with transferable course my GPA used for admission is a 3.53… Suck because I took those classes to help me and didnt really worry to much about my grades. So yes, they use both GPA’s, and they do not favor one over the other. They take all your grades over every school and average your GPA. Sucks I know…

i wrote a special circumstances essay explaing ing the poor CC grades so i hope they understand that those grades dont reflect me :(

Hey guys. I’m a freshman right now and fall semester I got a 3.8 and projected to get around the same for spring 2013. Good essays and letter of recommendations. I applied to ugs and the school of communications. Chance me?

You have a 67.82% chance

Sarcasm? Or serious?

Seriously sarcastic

My application status changed to “in review”. AHHHHHh the anticipation is killing me! How much longer will this last?
