I’m in the same boat as you, I keep telling myself that I can still choose between UCI and UCSD.

Where did you find that?
I knew it was high but I didn’t know it was that high!
In that case, maybe its not a good sign since I only have a 3.79

I think it’s still a good sign, they accept people under the average admitted and above.

Housing is still unsure of enrollment status.

I’m not an ME.

What does housing say for you @sarah?

@hoping
Wow. So out of every major at UCLA, my major has the highest average GPA. Great, that would be my luck haha.

I still get “unsure of enrollment status” when I go to housing. What about you?

@sarah Same thing. It only looks like engineers are getting the changes. Anyone else?

I am able to see my financial aid summary as of today.
I don’t see any other changes.

Can someone post up directions or links on how to find all of this stuff?!

Check out 2013 - UCLA status w/ URSA Thread

Thanks @HopingToXfer

So, I saw in this thread about a week ago that there was a “UCLA Email” trick. So I logged on and I had an email address from UCLA. Then 3 hours later I no longer had one. Some background - I went to UCLA for a summer class in '11. So I have had access to URSA ever since. When I saw this thread I figured, “Oh, I can log on no problem.” Every other time I have logged on (order transcripts etc.) it had my gmail address, but just that one night for a couple of hours it was a UCLA address. Just wondering if anything like this has happened to anyone else?

Probably doesn’t mean anything.

I am a transfer student…I applied to UCLA and UCB for comm major. My GPA is a terrible 3.7.
I was in PTK, several other clubs, did volunteer service, worked in school newspaper, broadcasting program, debate team, and interned at fox. My essays were pretty good. Do I still have a chance even if my gpa is so low???

I just logged into URSA, and they required me to make an email address with them and update my emergency information with UCLA. A sign of somesort?

EDIT : I was also able to log into the UCLA email.

@BruinChick A 3.7 GPA is not terrible nor is it low. It is an A-average. However, it would be more appropriate to say that it is a bit low relative to the major that you are applying to since the average is a 3.9. Are you TAP certified? Do you have all your major pre-reqs complete? Your extracurriculars look pretty solid so I would say that you have a decent shot of getting in.

hey sorry, i have been very busy. all the tricks point to truth, that is all i can say.

ucla is a wonderful university, the services, the food, the love, faculty, everything. never abuse or take for granted the university for whoever is accepted.

remember to get the steak nachos from de neve with extra cilantro and salsa, and tell them light beans.

I remember you from last year! How do you like UCLA, are commuting? Are there a lot of older transfers out there?
