2013-2014 Cycle: Same Essay Prompts?

<p>Hey everyone, </p>

<p>I was looking forward to getting a headstart on my essays, and while skimming through UofM's admissions website I arrived at these:</p>

<p>U-M</a> Common Application Supplemental Essays | University of Michigan Office of Admissions </p>

<p>A quick Google search for old Common App supplements showed me that these were also the essay prompts for the last cycle, and for the one before that one as well. Is it safe to assume that they'll be used this year, so I can start drafting? </p>

<p>If it means anything, I looked up a couple of third-party websites that are keeping lists of which colleges have posted their 2013-2014 essay questions early; UofM is on those lists.</p>

<p>fwiw, those are essentially the same prompts that they used when i applied a few years ago</p>

<p>I read somewhere that they are going to eliminate the option of writing on the topic of your choice, not sure if it’s true or not though.</p>

<p>Billcsho and MD2017, I wasn’t talking about the CommonApp essay - I was talking about the ones specific to the University of Michigan.</p>
