2013 AP Prep/Review Books (also book suggestions!)

Hey guys. I come from a small town with a not-so-great bookstore. In fact, the store just removed their section with AP review books. I'm on a weekend shopping trip and have the opportunity to buy prep books for my exams next year. However, are the 2013 exam review books even published? I heard at least some of the 2013 PR books come out on August 7. I'd like to stay as current as possible. So would it be a better idea to just order them in a week or two online?

Also, I'm a rising senior, and will be taking:

AP English Literature & Composition
AP Calculus AB
AP U.S. Government & Politics
AP Microeconomics
AP Environmental Science
AP Music Theory

Book suggestions would be MUCH appreciated!!

With the exception of Bio, none of the exams are changing, so you don’t need to latest versions of the books. They will often be the same as the year before. As to your original question, I am using PR for US Gov and Kaplan for Econ. Haven’t touched Econ, but I would definitely recommend PR US Gov

If you are a math-type, don’t bother with a calc ab review book, you probably won’t need it. i’d say barrons for lit, PR for econ, and i can’t help with any of the other ones.

bump bump bump

It’s a lot cheaper to buy the books on amazon (I only paid a dollar for my HuG book + the shipping.)

Not sure about the others, but my friend got a 5 on both economics with Princeton Review and 5 Steps to a 5, and for APES the general consensus seems to be Smartypants + PR
